On 08.10.2024, the The Communiqué on Decree No. 32 on the Protection of the Value of the Turkish Currency (“ Amending Communiqué”) was published in the Official Gazette dated 08.10.2024.
Pursuant to the Amending Communiqué, it has been made possible for authorized bodies resident in Turkey to conclude service contracts with manufacturers and employment contracts with Turkish residents in foreign currency or indexed to foreign currency, in accordance with the Medical Device Regulation and the Regulation on Medical Devices for In Vitro Diagnostic Purposes.
The Amending Communiqué entered into force as of its publication.
