The Decision on the Amendment of the Decision on Pricing of Medicinal Products for Human Use (“Amending Decision”) has been published in the Official Gazette dated 14 December 2022 and entered into force.
The new provisions brought by the Amending Decision are as follows:
The effective date of the changes in real reference price or price of sales to warehouses that are made within the scope of Article 10 of The Communiqué Decision on the Amendment of the Decision on Pricing of Medicinal Products for Human Use has been determined as the publication date of the Amending Decision for 2022.
The value of the 1 Euro used as a benchmark for pricing of medicinal products for human use has been increased by %36,77 in December 2022.
It has been regulated that the Euro value updated with the increase will also be applied in 2023 and no increase will be made for 2023.
As per the adopted increase in Euro value, the values scale reached 37,10 TRY level for price-protected products and 19,39 TRY for other products.
By the Amending Decision, the price update has been scheduled to an earlier date, which is made in February each year.
