PRIVACY NOTICE ON PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING
We have prepared this Privacy Notice to inform you regarding your personal data that may be processed by İnce Legal Law & Consultancy Office (“İnce Legal”), and regarding purposes of the processing of these data, legal grounds and methods for personal data collection, categories of recipients to whom your personal data may be transferred, and your rights under the Law on the Protection of Personal Data numbered 6698 (“LPPD”).
As İnce Legal, in accordance with the Attorneyship Law numbered 1136 and relevant legislation, we give importance to the protection of the data that we process in a “data controller” capacity and the confidentiality between attorneys and clients. In this regard, our business processes are carried out within the scope of the predetermined policies, procedures, and relevant legislation. We process your personal data in accordance with the relevant legislation, only for the purposes and limitations defined below, and take the utmost care to implement the necessary and appropriate administrative and technical measures.
Your personal data may be collected during, prior or after processes of receiving services from İnce Legal or selling goods/services to İnce Legal and processes of human resources and recruitment, through the information and documents that you have produced or shared with us, transactions, stakeholders, publicly available resources and platforms (such as media organs and trade registries), research, meetings, correspondences and communications that İnce Legal carries out through various channels and through other channels, including İnce Legal’s internet site and social media accounts and processed through automatic (electronic systems and programs) and non-automatic (physical records) methods for the purposes explained in this Privacy Notice.
Your personal data will be stored within Turkey limited with the periods provided in the relevant legislation and processing purposes; your personal data will be erased, destroyed and anonymized at the end of the relevant periods in accordance with the legislation and İnce Legal’s policies and procedures.

Processing of Personal Data in Our Main Activities
1.1. Legal Grounds
Your personal data may be processed within the scope of the advocacy and legal consultancy services we provide to our clients, human resources and recruitment processes, our administration, management and financial operations for the purposes described below and to the extent necessary, on the legal grounds that processing personal data is necessary for the enactment or fulfillment of the contract as indicated under Article 5/2-c of the LPPD, you have made the personal data available to the public in accordance with Article 5/2-d of the LPPD, the data processing is mandatory for the establishment, exercise, or protection of any right under Article 5/2-e of the LPPD, or that processing personal data is mandatory for the legitimate interests of İnce Legal in accordance with Article 5/2-f of the LPPD or with your explicit consent.
Your personal data may also be processed to carry out legal proceedings and services on the legal grounds that processing is mandatory for the establishment, exercise, or protection of rights as indicated under Article 5/2-e of the LPPD or for the purposes of fulfilling our legal obligations under the relevant legislation, by Attorneyship Law numbered 1136 being in the first place, and complying with the information and documentation requests of the competent authorities on the legal grounds that processing is necessary for compliance with our legal obligations as per Article 5/2-ç of the LPPD or if processing personal data is mandatory for the legitimate interests of İnce Legal as per Article 5/2-f of the LPPD.
Your personal data may be processed in the human resources and recruitment processes and within the scope of our newsletters on the actual legal developments and legislative amendments as well as our events and publications to the extent necessary with respect to advocacy and legal consultancy relationship and on the legal grounds that the processing of personal data is mandatory for the legitimate interests of İnce Legal as per Article 5/2-f of the LPPD or with the explicit consent of the parties who are interested in our human resources and recruitment processes and our services, publications and events.
1.2. Advocacy and Legal Consultancy Services
Within the scope of advocacy and legal consultancy services that we provide to our clients as İnce Legal; we may process the personal data of our clients, the stakeholders we work together, parties who provide consultancy or services to us, experts who provide opinions, individuals that are the subject of or party to the relevant advocacy or legal consultancy service or dispute, as well as their employees or representatives, and of third parties such as judges, public prosecutors, notaries public, experts and counterparty attorneys.

Within the scope of advocacy and legal consultancy services that we provide to our clients as İnce Legal; your personal data are processed for the below purposes:

Your personal data may be shared with third parties such as clients, the stakeholders we work together, parties who provide consultancy or services to us, experts who provide opinions, individuals that are the subject of or party to the relevant advocacy or legal consultancy service or dispute, as well as their employees or representatives; third parties such as judges, public prosecutors, notaries public, experts, counterparty attorneys and relevant organizations and institutions; parties and consultants we receive services in fields such as finance, accounting, information technologies, auditing, communication, design, cargo and mail delivery; and relevant authorities within the scope of our legal obligations or upon the requests made by legally competent authorities and in case of a dispute.
1.3. Human Resources and Recruitment Processes
Within the scope of human resources and recruitment processes that we carry out as İnce Legal; we may process the data regarding name, surname and communication information of persons making a job application; information on education, internship and career development; information that we obtain from references and through the security check to inspect suitability; information and resumes submitted in the applications and their content; visual records obtained by closed-circuit security camera system during office visits; information on the third parties (only upon the consent of the relevant parties) that may be requested to ensure health and security (such as the contact information to reach in emergency cases); and other data that may be requested by İnce Legal in accordance with the job application.
1.3.1 Purposes of Processing Your Personal Data
Within the scope of human resources and recruitment processes that we carry out as İnce Legal; your personal data are processed for the below purposes:

Your personal data may be shared with parties and consultants we receive services in the field of human resources and recruitment processes; third parties who are nominated as references within the scope of job applications; parties and consultants we receive services in fields such as finance, accounting, information technologies, auditing, communication, design, cargo and mail delivery; and relevant authorities within the scope of our legal obligations or upon the requests made by legally competent authorities and in case of a dispute.
1.4. Business Development and Newsletter Publications
Within the scope of business activities and newsletter publications that we carry out as İnce Legal; we may process the data regarding our clients, our stakeholders we work together, parties who provide consultancy or services to us, experts who provide opinions, as well as their employees or representatives and parties who are interested in our services and publications.
1.4.1. Purposes of Processing Your Personal Data
Within the scope of business activities and newsletter publications that we carry out as İnce Legal; your personal data are processed for the below purposes:

Your personal data may be shared with parties and consultants we receive services in fields such as finance, accounting, information technologies, auditing, communication, design, cargo and mail delivery; parties such as event organizers and event venues and similar parties with respect to event organizations; local or foreign platforms carrying out activities such as law firm rating and evaluation upon consents of the clients’ references; relevant authorities within the scope of our legal obligations or upon the requests made by legally competent authorities and in case of a dispute.
2. Good or Service Procurement Processes Other Than Our Main Activities
Within goods or services supply processes other than the main activities of İnce Legal, we may process the personal data of suppliers that we receive goods or services from, parties we receive consultancy services and third parties within the scope of relationships such as rental, purchasing, contract, as well as their employees or representatives.

Your personal obtained during goods or services supply processes other than the main activities that we carry out as İnce Legal may be shared with third parties in the below principal circumstances for the abovementioned purposes, in accordance with the legislation and to the extent necessary and relevant for the purposes in question:
Your personal data may be shared with banks and other parties that provide payment services to execute payments; parties and consultants we receive services in fields such as finance, accounting, information technologies, auditing, communication, design, cargo and mail delivery; our clients and third parties such as relevant organizations and institutions where necessary within the scope of our advocacy and legal consultancy services; and relevant authorities within the scope of our legal obligations or upon the requests made by legally competent authorities and in case of a dispute.
3. Using Our Internet Site
We may use cookies in our internet site at “incelegal.com” address for the purposes such as improving visitor experience; tracking and analyzing performance, working and efficiency of our internet site; and ensuring the security of our internet site. Cookies are small text files that may be stored on your hard disk through your browser when you visit an internet site. In general, no personal data is stored in the cookies used on our internet site and cookie technology only provides anonymous data.

4. Visiting Our Office
If you visit our office, your contact information, identity, company, vehicle information and information regarding your visit and visual records obtained by closed-circuit security camera system may be processed for the purposes of making preparations for the meeting, interview or event that you will participate in, creating visitor records, and building and workplace security and audit.
Visitor information may be shared with parties that we receive consultancy or service where necessary; building management for security purposes; and relevant authorities within the scope of our legal obligations or upon the requests made by legally competent authorities and in case of a dispute.
5. Processing of Your Personal Data in Our Other Activities
In case that it is necessary to process your data in situations other than the processes and activities provided above, the relevant data processing processes will be carried out based on the legal grounds provided in Articles 5 and 6 of LPDD, your explicit consent in accordance with the legislation and İnce Legal’s policies and procedures and to the extent necessary and relevant for the purposes in question:

We would like to remind you that you are granted to below rights as per Article 11 of the LPDD:

to request notification of the operations carried out to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred if you request rectification of the incomplete or inaccurate data and erasure or destruction of your personal data,

to object to the processing, exclusively by automatic means, of your personal data, which leads to an unfavourable consequence for the data subject,

to request compensation for the damage arising from the unlawful processing of your personal data.

We will be able to provide a more satisfactory response to your request if your request is precise, explicit, and clear. Please note that your request should concern your own data, or if you are acting on behalf of another person, you must provide us with a special power of attorney covering the request. As per the regulations, your request should include your name, surname, Turkish Republic ID number (for foreigners, nationality information and passport number), proof of identity, and the contact information for where our response to your request should be sent. If you submit satisfactory information and documentation to reply to your application, you will be reached as soon as possible and within thirty days. While your application is evaluated, you may be requested to submit additional information if deemed necessary. If the finalization of your application requires additional costs, fees determined by the tariff provided in relevant legislation may be requested.
